Ex BR Vanwide ()

The Vanwide design was adopted to solve the problem with Palvans being loaded unevenly - the central doors are similar to earlier designs but wider and slide instead of folding.  Later sold to the army for use internally - this one came from Bicester is in in good order and has had a quick repaint into an approximation to BR bauxite.  Photo is a cruel enlargement from a shot of it on a demonstration goods train.
